Today is another day

Back on the train.

So what does it feel to weigh 300+ lbs? Every morning, when you get out of bed, everything hurts. Your back, your joints. The soles of your feet hurt from the amount of pressure you put on them every time you take a step.

How does it feel to weigh 45 lbs less? No more aches and pains in the morning. More energy, which is a good thing considering we are going to the gym in the evening.

Tonight I jogged 1 and 1/2 circuits at the gym. Then I jogged 1 and 1/4 three times. Then we went in and worked on our shoulders and legs.

Tomorrow I will hurt.

Friday I will be going to a shoe store called “The Inside Track” to look for some running shoes that I can wear on the track, and on the road. Right now The Princess and I are running on an indoor track, but in the spring we will most likely be running outside. Consequently I want a shoe that is more versatile than the ones I have now for in the gym.

I am sounding like an old woman right now, aren’t ? Going on about shoes and the gym. Suffice it to say that even though I am choosing not to eat certain foods right now, the way I feel is worth any discomfort I might feel.

At least that is my story right now.

Namaste.
